Good news for UAE residents planning travel or business trips: Armenia cancels visas for UAE resident visa holders from July 1, 2025. The innovation greatly simplifies trips to one of the most picturesque and culturally rich countries in the region.

Visa-free regime for residents of the UAE and Gulf countries

According to the Armenian Tourism Committee, all UAE residents will be able to enter the country visa-free for up to 90 days in any 180-day period. This applies not only to citizens, but also to foreigners who have a residence permit in the UAE.

Moreover, visa-free entry applies to residents of all countries Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) — Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar.

“The expansion of the visa-free regime will make Armenia even more accessible to residents of the Gulf countries and will contribute to the development of tourism and business,” — said Lusine Gevorgyan, Chairman of the Armenian Tourism Committee.
