
A major road project worth a lot has been launched in Abu Dhabi Dh2.85 billion, which will connect Saadiyat Island to Khalifa City.
The project is aimed at relieving road congestion and improving transport connectivity between key parts of the city.
The main parameters of the project
- bandwidth: up to 88,000 cars per day
- modern road infrastructure with high capacity
- phased implementation
Part of the route has already been opened, which has reduced the load on existing roads.
What is included in the project
In addition to the road itself, additional elements of urban infrastructure are provided:
- Footbridge
- nearly 8 km of jogging and cycling trails
- plus 184 smart lights
This makes the project not only transport, but also focused on the comfort of the urban environment.
Current status
The project is in its early stages, but:
- some sites have already been put into operation
- further stages will be implemented gradually

The result
